Trudeau's Park Event & Banquet Centre

Just about everything, accommodation very poor. No phone, no hot water, lack of staff, very noisy in evening, wedding party, running in hall, banging doors, shouting, had trouble sleeping, TV remote did not work, bedside lamp did not work, bed very uncomfortable, upon arrival no sign as to where to check-in, do not recommend at all. Located in a lovely lake front spot.

This establishment hosts a variety of events throughout the year, such as snowmobile races, rodeos, obstacle course races, ice motorcycle racing, triathlons, fishing derbies, concerts, and wedding receptions. They also have an on-site restaurant and bar, camping options, and a few hotel rooms for accommodations.

I heard about the rodeo and concerts happening at night, and there was a country band I wanted to see. I bought tickets in April without knowing what to expect. The staff was very accommodating and there were plenty of water stations for the animals. This campground was not your typical strict campground, common sense was valued here. There were good times in the stands with many smiles. It was easy to find with rodeo signs off the highway, although signage for the park itself could be improved.

The restaurant and bar located by the lake in a beautiful tweed area offer a lovely view of the bay. There is ample parking available and plenty of big shady trees to enjoy.

I was at the rodeo when they first did it the 2nd year was even good but now that I went and stayed for the weekend I was very disappointed with the way things were what is on the banners and when I perchased the early bird tickets what was advertised was not there. this is suppose to be a family thing nothing was there for kids. no carnavel no amusment park and no cowboys breakfast just venders to make breakfast no washrooms thoughout the camping areas for campers. had to walk for good length for washroom. had friends come for the day with kids and they all got charged 30 each instead of 25 from a man taking money we went and payed for one of our friends to get in and the girl only took the proper 25 dollars for the day. we watched a man make a rope swing for his kids to play. I and the others that went with us for the first time ever found it was not worth the money they are asking now. Others we talked to there found the same most advertised was a farse. if not having it do not have it on the banners. right now us and others that went and the thoughts of going next year is not there now
