Had reservations on Sunday and when we arrived the restaurant was for a private party

Many of the dishes were inedible. Think frozen food quickly zapped. Nothing tastes like it was made in house. It was many notches below the old chain, Hometown Buffet. The low quality food made the adults in the party speechless. “How can they serve this?” was ruminating through our minds the entire time. Shocked. We were beyond looking forward to celebrating a Mothers Day birthday combo and what used to be an elegant restaurant. We left confused and felt like we literally threw over $200 away.

The dining room was reserved for an event so our Mother’s Day dinner, which was supposed to be special, was in the small bar filled with golfers drinking beer and shouting at the horse racing. Unfortunately since it was Saturday night before Mother’s Day all restaurants were booked. We had no choice but to endure. When the dining room is booked, the reservation on Open Table should be turned off.

Booked a table for 8 in the restaurant (first time here) for the day before mothers day for my mom and mother in law. We arrived and the restaurant says it’s closed to a private party. I asked and they said “oh you’re probably in the players lounge” so we go around and basically have a table in a noisy bar with our moms. Nice bait and switch. It went downhill from there. Never again!
