The Yellow Store - Tuskegee

For my first plate, I had the Hamburger Steak with gravy, served with collard greens and sweet potato cornbread. My second plate was a pork chop combo (you can choose two of the same) with green beans, sweet potatoes, and more sweet potato cornbread. My third plate was a Wing Dinner that includes three wings, and I also added three extra wings for the next leg of my trip since their hot, fresh chicken was too tempting to pass up! Everything was delicious! The meat was well-seasoned, and the sides were perfectly cooked with great flavor. The sweet potatoes were the highlight for me! The menu changes daily, so I highly recommend stopping by to grab a plate and enjoy some conversation with the lovely ladies there.

The fish fillet dinner is outstanding. The mac and cheese is incredibly cheesy—you might find yourself wanting a double portion. They are currently short on some menu items, but everything they do have is extremely delicious.

I always find the food to be excellent. I've never been let down.
