The Pantry - Tuscola

The pantry was absolutely fantastic. The oatmeal was so well done balancing texture and flavor with no overpowering sweetness. The coffee was great, the yogurt parfait fresh and delicious. A true treasure. Update, we've come back and it's as fantastic asever. The steal cut oats were also great as were the muffins. The coffee is the best in the area and the service is alwaysfriendly.

The food was excellent, the atmosphere was enjoyable, and there’s a charming little shop with treats as well.

Avoid this Karen business, The Pantry. The owner is NOT trucker friendly and will threaten to tow your rig. Avoid at all cost. I guess The Pantry forgets her items are delievered on a truck. Stated customers don't want to see a truck at her business. Notworth stopping in. Screw that deli. Guess our money isn't good enough for her.

The food is decent, but the pie is outstanding. I've heard quite a bit about the negative work environment from a friend who used to work there, and they described it as quite toxic. I hope improvements can be made.

The menu was displayed on a chalkboard and offered a limited selection for a typical breakfast. It's one of the few businesses still operating in this large strip mall, which I assume has seen many closures due to COVID. The cook or waitress brought out the meals, but customers had to get up to refill their coffee from carafes located in the entryway. Overall, this is not a place I plan to revisit.
