Had been wanting to try this place after reading the glowing reviews, and it certainly did not disappoint! The steak was excellent and the onion rings were incredible. Of course, the Nicodemus was a real highlight also. That being said, it's necessary to get there as early as possible since there aren't many tables and it fills up quickly! The website says it opens at 5:00, but we got there before 4:30 and several customers had already been seated. By 5:00, it was completely full and people were standing outside and waiting in their cars. Despite that, it's definitely worth it!
Steaks overcooked and taste like cardboard. Everything swims in oil. Stomach ache guarantee.
I couldn't believe how efficient and dedicated the staff of this Tuscaloosa gem were. Food was freaking delicious, like you wouldn't believe, and the Southern hospitality greeted you at the door like a nice warm hug. Thanks Nick's!!
