Metro Diner - Tuscaloosa

Wow! Our first time at Metro Diner was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had. I was extremely impressed with the high quality and delicious taste of their food. It felt like eating a home-cooked meal. The service was excellent, with a very kind and helpful staff. Our waitress was attentive, friendly, and even recommended a delicious meal. The overall dining experience was top-notch, with a clean restaurant, comfortable tables, and a fantastic atmosphere. We truly enjoyed our time there and will definitely be returning to eat more. I highly recommend Metro Diner to others.

This restaurant exceeds all expectations and more. It was featured on the popular show Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives hosted by Guy Fieri, so you know it's going to be amazing. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable. The grilled City Meat Hat is a comforting dish that soothes the soul.

Wow, the food at this restaurant is incredible! We tried the bun and wad and it quickly became my favorite breakfast dish. I love that they offer bone-in chicken, as it adds another depth of flavor. The chicken had a perfect crispy texture and the waffle batter was light and fluffy, not to mention the delicious butter. Overall, a truly delicious meal.

Get the hell and waffle. they will not regret it. the fish is also great. the customer service is hard to beat. we sat outside and they never skipped a beat. to go order was ready with our check. amazing.

I love Metro Diner; I'm not sure what happened today but our breakfast was terrible and our server pretty much nonexistent. Our pancakes were so tough you couldn't even cut them with a fork let alone a knife. They were very chewy, maybe over beaten batter or banked pancakes not sure. No we did not eat them they were terrible. The over easy eggs were over cooked. The hash browns were greasy and the home fries over cooked. The sausage, bacon and scrambled eggs were the only properly cooked items. Our server never came back to check on us until she dropped the check on the table. I really hope this was just an off day because I would really love to change my review.
