I visited this place to have coffee with a friend, and to be honest, the only reason I hadn't tried it sooner is because it doesn't have wifi.
The chocolate espresso milkshake at this restaurant is one of the best things I have ever tasted in the city. However, it can be frustrating that they do not accept credit cards.
We had never seen the Chin Up before but are always looking for good coffee shops in this area. The lattes were excellent and the scone I had was light and very tasty. The woman who owns the place is East Asian and she also makes dishes from there. We had a veggie samosa to go and they were great. We will definites go back and try some of her other Indian dishes.
I often go for soup and a sandwich here. The lentil soup is delicious and the sandwiches are very fresh and stuffed with filling. Yesterday, I picked up a Butter Chicken and a Sag Paneer (homemade cheese and spinach puree) and consumed with friends this evening. Excellent; twice much chicken one normally gets. Another aspect of the delight of the cafe is Raj, the effervescent owner. Worth a trip.
