Waffle House - Tupelo

What a shame that the restaurant is so terribly, terribly filthy. The food was good, and our order was exact, but if a health inspector walked into this place, it would be immediately shut down. If someone from corporate were to make a surprise visit, they would be appalled. I wasn't able to get photos of the mounds of food and garbage on the floor under every table and behind the line, but I encourage the franchise owners to hurry over and see just how nasty their investment is. I don't often call places out for being negligent, but this is grossly so. The employees were nice, but completely unphased and unmotivated to improve a health hazardous atmosphere. I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. Please send help!

We felt our waitress was in a hurry and they were only two more tables occupied in there. She never asked if we needed anything. And all the staff were carrying on loudly with each other.

The food was great. Waited on my bacon too long but that’s fine. The server was aloof. She didn’t care whether there were customers there or not. Slowly cleaning tables. Leaving tables intentionally dirty, causing customers to walk out. The conversation was loud and unintelligible. There was one guy out of 20, that was getting smiled at, and waited on hand and foot. Again the food was great. Coffee too. It was obvious that nobody care if we were there or not.
