Captain D's - Tupelo

Trust... I've never eaten at Cap'n D. And now I'm thinking not to try it earlier! I have the 2 pieces and 6 shrimp plate w/ a loaded potato green beans. My friend has the 3 piece, and my child has a child 1 piece, both w/ mac chz and pommes. The accounts were 26.58. We all loved everything on our plates except the green beans. I'll skip the next time. The shrimps were delicious! We dipped our fish in malt vinegar and dipped it into the Cap'n D's sauce. High five and golden stars for the staff. When I ordered, I mentioned that it was eating there my first time, so when we went out, although she had a lobby full, the sweet lady stopped behind the counter what she did to ask me how I liked it. It was so real and it made my day. I told her. If only for the service had gone, even if I didn't like the food. Give the Gal an increase!

Very good food and service.. A lady worked front counter and went through herself. She was great at her job. Very pleasant and professional. just needs more help..

So I went back. It's been about a week since my last visit tonight was very good! The service was on site. There was a very nice lady working on the front, and she took commands left and right Dine in AND drive thru! She always had a smile on her face and made sure everyone had everything they needed. Was happy to bring you a refill or something else you needed. The food was hot and delicious!! So I change my rating of 3 stars to 5 based on tonight visit!! The lady who works in front needs an increase!! We were there 2/23/22 at 8:00. It was clean. The food was delicious. The workers were very nice. It was a bit waiting, but it was lunch, so I get it.

The fish is always good and I get 2 mac and cheese, its delicious. The window girl is very pleasant and friendly.

The drive thru took a while to get through but it was worth it because the food was great.
