La Dogana, gave us three fabulous days, in full relaxation and intimacy. A really fantastic welcome, made directly by the owner who made us feel right at home. Professionalism and kindness, a rare combination, availability and discretion. our room immersed in silence and time, a portico between the leaves, which dress a farmhouse, which must tell. Clean, cosy room, in style, with a floor that brought stories of distant places, real wood furniture, to caress. Comfortable and functional bathroom and kitchen. The moment of breakfast on the lake is not to be missed, the sympathy and professionalism of the cook, are unique. The sweets made by them, jams and juices, make feel rooting in the territory, but with an internationality of thought. The availability with the smile came out when food intolerances were made, the next morning most of the buffet was specially prepared without milk. We stayed at the Customs in August and is a real little jewel. The apartments are functional and equipped with everything, surrounded by greenery. The property offers the swimming pool, with a wonderful view of Lake Trasimeno and has different shared spaces, also designed for children. The silence of the place is great for those who want to take a few days off, the location of the farm allows you to move and visit comfortably both Umbria and Tuscany. The atmosphere at Dogana was immediately that of a welcoming and familiar environment, it seemed to be surrounded by friends, both with Lucia (the owner) and his staff seemed to have known each other for a long time. The breakfast with lake view, with fresh fruit, sweets every day, jams and also a selection of salty, began the day with different spirit. We could not try the Bistrot, active on the weekend, but we had occasion to try the kitchen in an organized dinner for the guests, and it was great. Lucia is very welcoming and attentive to her guests. She has a wealth of knowledge in the history of the region, vineyards, olive orchards and promises to make anyone's stay superb and dynamic.
