Tally's Good Food Café (south) - Tulsa

The food was quite enjoyable, particularly the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits had a homemade appearance and flavor, paired with a delicious country-style gravy. The portion sizes were generous, and I certainly left feeling satisfied. The service was decent, but it could have been friendlier and more attentive during my visit. On the positive side, the restaurant was clean and overall quite attractive. I plan to pay in cash next time, as I discovered they quietly added a 2% surcharge for using my American Express card. Considering the already high prices, this left me with a bit of a sour feeling, even though I will still return occasionally.

Those who ordered breakfast for lunch were very satisfied. The pancakes were fluffy, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the bacon was crispy. However, my grilled chicken salad was somewhat disappointing. Although the greens were fresh and the boiled egg was tasty, the chicken breast was ice cold, lacked seasoning, and was overcooked. The waitresses were fantastic. I plan to give it another try in the future.

I ordered Tally's World-Famous Chicken Fried Steak with eggs, gravy, and extra crispy hash browns (just the way I like them), along with an English muffin. My companion, Harry, had the “Everything Omelet” paired with home-style potatoes and toast. The menu features diner fare but with a twist, offering a wide variety of options to choose from. Unfortunately, we didn’t have room for one of their legendary cinnamon rolls, but if you can, definitely get one! My only suggestion would be to add a bit more seasoning to the chicken fried steak, but that didn’t take away from the overall experience. Our server, Nicole, was fantastic!

We eat out for breakfast once a week have tried various different places, we have one other favorite but each time we come to Tally's it supersedes everyplace else. Not only is the restaurant immaculately clean, and the staff are friendly and efficient,but the food is absolutely excellent! Very high-quality ingredients and taste, they are so generous with portion sizes, toppingsand serve their syrup warm! Who wants cold syrup? Nobody! I wish all restaurants had the high standards for quality that Tally'shas set and maintained for years. I also love that its not as loud as a couple other places.

This restaurant was fantastic! I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of the food, the variety of options, the friendly staff, and the overall atmosphere. The portion sizes are very generous—I took home a full to-go box, and that was just half of my meal! Their enormous cinnamon rolls were also incredible. I highly recommend it and would definitely go back.
