Salles Café - Tulare

Wow! was my impression when the food arrived at the table. large portions and delicious. I ordered the meat lovers omelette with cookies and gravy. the cookies, where completely homemade and the engraving was full of sausage quality. the land potatoes where like omg crispy scattered (done in style of jack in the box attracts simply better) on the outside soft and hot inside. the omelette was filled with meat and cheese and was delicious. the price was. it is not bad over $11 exactly what they would pay for an IHOP/Denny's. when you come by, it's worth stopping. and friendly staff to boot. I'm sure you're gonna get out of here with a full bit. as mexican say panxa llena, corazón contento.

The food was amazing. Biscuits and Gravy, Crunchy French Toast, and the Salles omelet were all so delicious

My wife loves Porto's , if you visit Glendale's Porto's make sure that you feed the parking meeter or you'll get a ticket. I live about 200 miles and visit most of the buisnes around that area but when I parked there at Porto's the locals told me that being on Sunday I wasn't required to feed the meeter... My mistake, I got a parking ticket... Therefore my relatives and most of my friends wi'll never support any buisnes in Glendale anymore ...

Service was meh. Food was meh. I ordered the Tri Tip Sandwich. Fries were really bland. That was the most meh tri tip I've ever had. This was one of those small town places that I never thought I'd end up at. I'm not from this area. I'm from the west SFV and I was passing through with a friend heading up north. Soon as we walked through the door we sat at the bar because there was no tables. Walking to take a seat there I could feel the stares. We were speaking Spanish the whole time there and I'm actually surprised nobody told us to leave. They certainly looked like they were wanting to tell us to leave lol. I'm guessing by other reviews that this might be the most exciting dining experience this area has to offer. I'm certainly not wanting to put this place down. But I just didn't find it good at all. It wasn't bad. It just wasn't good.

The worst service I have had. They sat us at the counter and we waited over 15 minutes just for coffee. We were ignored by our older waitress and had to ask the hostess for coffee. Waitress was rude and we waited 15 minutes to get a glass of orange juice while eating. When finally asked for a coffee refill I replied No, to which the sarcastic reply was ’No thank you’ . No one deserves that kind of disrespect
