Duke's Seafood Southcenter - Tukwila

We had the very best waiter!! He was very attentive and friendly! His name was Eddie and if you go definitely ask for him!! The food was good too! Especially the crab cake!

We opted to try the happy hour menu on this visit and were quite pleased with the results. The coconut shrimp and calamari steak strips were outstanding and the addition of cole slaw was a nice surprise. The Duke burger was it’s usual tremendous self and came with a generous portion of fries. The Cabo Wabo shrimp was great and the specialty libations were not watered down for happy hour. The only disappoint was that service was a bit spotty in the bar because it was shared duty between three bartenders none of whom felt responsible for the table, and the carrot cake was more a cupcake and not a very good one. Having tried all of the regular desserts over the course of our visits, it is by far the worst offering on their menu.

We were a group of three. The food was excellent as always. I chose a burger cooked medium and it was prepared perfectly, just like always. Our waiter, Pedro, was outstanding. He was attentive without being overbearing. When we praised him for his excellent customer service, he humbly replied that he only treats his guests the way he would want to be treated. We will definitely return.

The temperature started to drop outside, and when we inquired about the overhead heater, we were informed that it needed new fuses. However, when we left after dinner, we noticed that at least 2 heaters were on despite nobody being near them. We had initially been under the impression that all the heaters were nonfunctional. Unfortunately, my salad was not chopped and lacked cheese, with only a small piece of avocado. On the other hand, my husband thoroughly enjoyed his filet, describing it as "awesome."
