Schwaerzlocher Hof - Tübingen

We found 5sein restaurant as it was away from the city, but just a few minutes walk from our hotel. looked at a table outside and enjoyed the view over the fields. eating was pretty good. the sourd was delicious. cold beer, fast service. playground for children.

We went to dinner because we were looking for a place outside the tourist around there were many tübingen people, so we can confirm that it is very crowded, but they can find a place to sit in the huge garden or inside. we were... surprised that eating was good: we have eaten much better in other restaurants. the price was low and they have a nice view, so it is a place to consider at least for these facts.

Friends brought us to their favorite local and it was lovely. Wonderful ambiente, friendly and efficient service, delicious local cuisine and good beer.

The place is popular among the locals, who come there to sit outside and enjoy a drink, but this establishment also serves great local fare. There is plenty of inside seating in a rustic setting. Service is friendly and professional, and the food arrives within...a short time, even though this place tends to be very busy. We enjoyed the venison, another family member chose the sausage salad( a local favorite), and everybody found the food very good. Prices are reasonable.We stuck with mineral water for a drink( we were drivers), the non-drivers loved the Mostbowle a drink based on the local cider, which is refreshing). This place is only a few miles away from Tuebingen, and it is worth the drive!
