Restaurant Istanbul - Tübingen

All good except the tasteless meat, salad and unmannered acts of the workers. Would never recommend to anyone as a Turk.

I was attracted to the place because of the appearance and the fact that a long queue was lining up on Sunday at noon time. Prices are really affordable, portions on full dishes with plates enormous, enough for two really. I was however somewhat disappointed with the taste and freshness, especially the meaty part. So a bit more of a quantity instead of a quality place.

The facility is partly still from the German predecessor, so that this snack differs somewhat from other Turkish performances with the usual station lighting. The food is good, typical Turkish, next to the usual diner, also changing delicious dishes with and without meat. Superlecker is Iskender Kebap, as in Turkey and probably the best in the city! At the beginning they made this on our express wish, now it is on the map: dice flat bread, on it a layer of tinned meat, top of it tomato sauce, top of it beautiful sweet yogurt, at the end with a shot of fried butter. Afiyet olsun, good appetite! And finally a tea with fresh şöbiyet.

Really delicious food and very cheap prices. the staff are always friendly and leave no wish open. the darker tastes a lot here and I always feel comfortable here!

When I'm in Germany, I always try a kebab at least once. this was a convenient place, cheap and standard, but with good quality kebab (as well as some other options.) I ordered to go, but it was possible to eat there too.
