Primo at the JW Marriott Starr Pass Resort & Spa

Due to a recent mouth surgery, I was able to customize my dinner order. I chose scallops with lemon and shishito risotto, both of which were cooked perfectly and tasted delicious. However, the shishito was not very visible. My husband ordered spaghetti and meatballs, with tender meatballs and a tasty marinara sauce.

The restaurant had wonderful food and servers. Although the food and drinks came out slow, it was not the servers' fault. They made sure to inform us that the order was placed but the drinks were missing, etc. The food was absolutely amazing and there were great choices on the menu. We sat outside and the ambiance was beautiful, however, there was an event next door with HORRIBLE karaoke singing, which was a bit annoying but ended up making for an entertaining night. It would be helpful if the staff informed guests in advance about any events happening nearby.

The food at this restaurant is incredibly fresh and of high quality. The peach arugula pizza was stunning, the halibut with lemon risotto was cooked to perfection, and the risotto was not too heavy. The meatballs and tomato sauce served with the spaghetti were tender and delicious.

We really enjoyed dining here with our family. Good food that was pricey. Great service.

Very disappointing. All aspects. Will try to keep this short. Service was terrible. Had to wave down anyone we could find as our waiter was rarely coming by. When did return, well into our meal, we returned our broccolini and our water. Yes, water. It was served in a plastic jug that looks like it came from the soccer field and tasted the same. When we asked for pellegrino as a replacement, the waiter took our glasses and poured them back into the container! The brocollini was bitter, cool, and inedible. My pork chop was not fully cooked and lukewarm. I ate around the cool pink parts and carried on due to the lack of a waiter. The tiramisu is some attempt at creativity. It fails. It comes across like a pre-packaged frozen dessert. The place is noisy on a Saturday night, not complaining, just awareness for others. Overall, a very disappointing experience that was further frustrating by the $260 bill. (2 people). Would not recommend this restaurant at all.
