Bidrage med feedbackIf you like traditional Filipino and other Asian food items then this is the place to be. We especially love the coffee and BBQ pork skewers to top it off with their desserts. But the store also gives us a little taste of the Philippines.
The food that they charge an arm and a leg for is old and stale. Tastes like days old food re-cooked. While they're the only Filipino Store in the city, their prices are sky high. A better alternative would be the Fiesta Filipina restaurant at Park Place mall, food is fresh and you get a much better deal of $7-8 for a plate with rice and 2 sides vs. $7.50 here at this place for a small cup of 1 item.
Nick goes out of his way to accommodate his customers. If he doesn't have what you're looking for, he will try to get it. He truly takes great pride in his little store/restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Vietnamese food or grocery, this is the place to go.
I wanted lumpia and I got some.I don't think there is another Filipino restaurant in the area so I gave 4 stars. Otherwise it would be 3 stars. I am not rating the grocery side which looked well stocked.Food: 4/5
Cooked food is old. Quite possible from the previous day. I do not recommend it. On the other hand they have a decent selection of packaged goods.Food: 1/5
