Bidrage med feedbackI recently discovered this lovely deli and I'm glad I did. The food and service were excellent. I ordered the Italian sausage sub and it was delicious. I can't wait to try more dishes on their menu.
I had the Titanic sandwich the Italian sandwich and the roast beef sandwich with the fried onions best $50 I spent with a Caprese salad and a RC cherry soda love this place definitely going to go back prices were extremely Fair
This sandwich spot in Tucson could possibly be the best one around. The deli meats are consistently fresh and it's a convenient stop before heading up to Mt. Lemmon.
I decided to try the chicken parm hero at this restaurant based on their claim to be a New York-style deli. However, after tasting it, I couldn't help but wonder if they were kicked out of New York and ended up in Tucson. As someone who was born in the Bronx and raised in Southern NY, I can say with confidence that the chicken parm is definitely not New York-style. The chicken was a round, preformed, frozen patty, which is considered a cardinal sin in New York and to anyone who knows how to cook Italian food. Needless to say, I will not be returning to this restaurant.
My wife and I have been going there for years. actually the owner and I were probably about 35 years old when we first went to his restaurant. what I'm 70 now. my wife and I both ordered the Corned-Rind-Reuben sandwich with Swiss on marble. I have one with sour wort and she has it with koleslaw. the sandwiches were delicious as usual and so big that we both could eat half. the other half brought home and brought to eat. also congratulations to the guy who pours my drinks all the years that have just become 100 years old! recommend a trip to fortunato’s deli.
