Bidrage med feedbackExcellent service, (danke gave). the food was delivered quickly and was good, but I had better. we had both the el corral cut prime rib. it was a perfect size. the salad, the rolls, baked carrots and the tamale cakes were very good. the nativity had not much taste and there was quite a lot of fat, but it was properly cooked and was quite delicate. I prefer framed meerrettich, but it was okay, maybe we'll come back sometime.
I had been here before and had a great experience with food and customer service. This was my 2nd time hoping for a repeat but sadly it wasn 't as memorable as the first. The bad: Our salads were a garden mix with a single tomato and single cucumber slice while another in our party did not even get a cucumber. (I know it 's salad but still throw in a few toppers to make it feel like it was worth what you pay for) The signature Tamale pie tasted on the over done part with a slight taste of burnt mixed in. I don 't recall it tasting like this my first time. The Tucson Chicken plate portion was smaller than expected. The Good: Our waiter Kevin was excellent! Attentive to refills and checking often on us to see if we needed anything else. (He even gave us fresh french fries due to the original order getting soggy while the other food finished getting ready) Loaded potatoes were amazing and packed with enough toppers. The Catalina Cut Prime rib was huge! Bigger than I thought it would be. All in all I will plan to return but definitely not a preferred steakhouse for the cost of the meals.
We came to el corral to celebrate our 41th anniversary, as many years ago. the main rib was excellent. our service was fast and attentive. many thanks for a great evening just a suggestion, but bring the pumpernickle brot back and throw the salat on the table as they did for years
The staff was very friendly and the steaks very tasty. I ordered medium rare with charred sides and they did a great job. However the salad was just from a bag and had lots of yellow instead of green. The decor is nice with a private room and another smaller dining area.
Steak was ok but I have had better. The ribs were overdone on the ends. So dry you could not eat that part because it turned into like beef jerky. The server was great. For the price it wasn?t worth it though. Maybe we will give it another try when we are back in Tucson. The ambiance is also pretty cool.
