El Chinito Gordo - Tucson

Something about this place feels very quintessentially Tucson. Fantastic food, warm, family vibes and fantastic service with great attention to detail. Reasonably priced for a nice dinner and drinks too. I would gladly come back for seconds.

This place is so amazing! Way underrated! The food here is divine. The calabicitas are to die for. The shredded beef is so tender and juicy and the taco shells are so light and crispy. This is the best Mexican restaurant in town.

5 star Mexican food! My favorites of the evening were the esquites and the chile en nogada. But honestly, everything I ate here was amazing. I love that they have a margarita flight because their options all sound so tasty!

Several delicious vegetarian options available, great service, and several Mezcal options! Its our go to place for lunch or dinner dates on the weekends, and they always go out of their way to make sure you leave happy!Vegetarian options: The rajas taco and potato tacos are my favorite!!

Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly. Nice selection at reasonable pricing. Went on a Monday evening and it was a quieter night. Not sure how busy it gets on the weekends, but they are bigger inside than I had expected and have a very large, nice clean parking lot if they get really busy. I will eat here again.
