Lady Magpie's Tea Curiosities

We had an amazing experience at the restaurant. The decor was whimsical, and our hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming. The finger sandwiches offered a creative mix of flavors, from a savory bacon mayo and tomato on pumpernickel to a delightful strawberry cream on white bread. The scones were elevated with fresh clotted cream and strawberry jam. For dessert, we were treated to a wonderfully delicious assortment, including strawberry cookies, lavender cupcakes, a chocolate and peanut butter bar, and vanilla cream topped with tart strawberries. I enjoyed everything so much that I completely forgot to take any photos! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience, and we're already planning to return in August to try their Harry Potter-themed offerings. I will definitely update this post with photos then!

Our girls' beach getaway took us on an unexpected adventure to Lady Magpie’s Tea Curiosities. The tea was fantastic, and we were delighted by the stunning steampunk decor! Thank you for the wonderful experience!

The tea and food were enjoyable, but the service was extremely poor. I felt rushed, as if they were trying to hurry my friend and me out the door.

Delightful way to spend an hour or two with good company. I've been to quite a few tea rooms but I really enjoyed the steampunk decor and different themes of Lady Magpies dining rooms. We were in the willow room that had a women's suffrage decor and an ice cream theme. (Ask the owner what ice cream had to do with women's suffrage) The food is homemade, and many of the ingredients come right from the garden on the property. The house itself is part of the Tuckerton Seaport museum tour and was the Captains House. I would definitely recommend stopping by Lady Magpies to sample the delicious teas and finger foods when you next visit Tuckerton seaport or if you love tea rooms.

What a wonderful place! Staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. When we arrived, we were greeted by name (based on reservations). We chose the Afternoon Tea menu option with the pear ginger tea; the lemon scones were nothing short of delicious. Everything is made in-house and there are a variety of teas to choose from. The building/decor is the best combination of Victorian era meets Comic-Con. There are multiple rooms, each with a different theme that still holds true to the theme and time era. We were seated next to a cozy fireplace. There is a small gift shop which features an array of goodies.
