Bidrage med feedbackNow, let's talk about Breeze's menu. It's impressive! I started with the Crispy Chicken Tails from the appetizer section, and they were so delicious that they could easily serve as a full meal. I also couldn't resist trying the Philadelphia Cheese Steak, which was equally fantastic. I left feeling completely stuffed! They have a great selection of local craft beers, and I chose Victory Brewery's Dirt Wolf Double IPA. I had never tried it on draft before, and it tasted even better than I remembered. I did manage to snap a picture of the lively band, but I was so caught up in the moment that I missed out on capturing the sunset—I'll definitely aim for that next time! Lastly, a big shoutout to the staff who worked tirelessly to serve the bustling crowd. They truly went above and beyond!
I've been here before, but this time was just disappointing. I ended up having to go to the bar for a drink after waiting for a waitress who must have passed by our table at least four times without acknowledging us. It's a mystery to me how this place is still in business. While the drinks were reasonably priced at $10, the bartenders were completely overwhelmed. There seemed to be no experienced staff—whether waitresses, bartenders, or hostesses—anywhere to be found. They really need better management. We spent $30 during our visit, but we would have spent much more if we had received proper service.
**TL;DR**: I visited Breezes Dock Bar and Grill twice, and both experiences left much to be desired. I encountered long wait times, cold food, forgotten dishes, and a generally inattentive waitress. If you choose to go, I recommend staying at the bar area by the live music, as it offers a better atmosphere and value for food and drinks. **Quality of Food**: During my second visit, I found my short rib tacos to be nearly cold, as if they had come straight from the refrigerator, and the Cotija cheese was not even slightly melted. Others in my party also had issues with their meals, citing complaints about blandness, improper cooking, and dryness. The one positive note was for those who ordered burgers, which seemed to be a safer bet. While the appetizers arrived hot and fresh, the calamari was chewy and lacked crispiness. **Quality of Service**: We were initially told there would be a 15-minute wait, which was impressive compared to our first visit that had a 45-minute wait. However, we ended up waiting about 35 minutes before being seated. Our waitress took our orders, but after I requested a pitcher of water, that was the last we saw of her for quite some time. While our food was brought out by runners, one of our meals was forgotten entirely, causing one member of our party to eat alone after everyone else had already started. It was difficult to get our waitress's attention as she rushed past the table, leading me to eventually ask another waitress for help. I even had to go get a to-go container myself just to retrieve a dipping sauce. **Environment**: The live music is a highlight in this outdoor setting, and the bar area is perpetually crowded. On a sunny day, it's a wonderful place to enjoy a drink and some appetizers while listening to the bands. However, sitting on the patio, especially under the patched carpeting, is less than ideal. **Prices and Value**: The prices are a bit steep, as everything is a la carte. You need to order an entrée starting at $14, plus sides such as fries for an additional $6. Given that my tacos arrived ice cold, they were certainly not worth the $16 I spent. The fries were warm and tasty, though they would have been better if they were fresh. **Final Thoughts**: I would recommend sticking to burgers if you choose to go or simply enjoying the atmosphere at the bar instead of dining in the restaurant. Ironically, my tacos were tastier the next day after heating them up in the microwave!
Unbelievable! Loved this great place. The food was great and the location is perfect. I tried the shrimp tacos. They were fire! Absolutely come back when I'm in the area.
Nice drink selection. Food is good not a huge menu. Not really a place to go for seafood, it's pub style food but they have crab cakes and tuna. It gets pretty busy and sometimes it seems like there might not be enough staff so, be prepared to wait. Servers have always been friendly. The wait for tables can be pretty long in the summer but when the deck is open but it's easy to get drinks while you wait at inside or outside bar. They have live music in the evening on weekends. Parking lot is a bit hectic because it's in a working boat yard without defined spaces. They have a kids menu with the basics.
