Foothills Mountain -b-que - Tryon

This is no longer a BBQ joint; instead, it's a charming little snack shop offering a variety of hot items on the menu. I tried a chili cheese dog, chips, and a Dr Pepper for just $5.50. It was tasty, and the woman who served me was very kind. It wasn't too busy today, likely because rain is in the forecast.

The BBQ was excellent! The fries were tasty, but unfortunately they got cold due to the long wait. Given the large crowd in the park for multiple events, the restaurant seemed unprepared to manage that level of volume.

The staff were welcoming, the food was delicious, and the service was excellent.

Gotta love their tattor salad. Best BBQ in Polk county.

Everything I've ever had here is freaking awesome. I especially love the brisket and some of the best potato salad ever.!!
