Jams - Truro

Why is all the items are so overpriced? It seems like they want to make all the income of a year in one month. Not to mention, not bathroom, not tap water. Truro is beautiful, but this store needs competition so they wake-up! The prices and the things previously mentioned are what is keeping me from going more often, and for that reason I can't recommend to friends.

I am STUNNED! I just went into Jams and it's a whole new vibe! Everyone was friendly and helpful! They actually made eye contact! They joked around! They even seemed happy to see me! Where the HELL am I ?!?! JAMS. Go. You won't even recognize the place! I can't wait til tomorrow morning to get my coffee. Love it, love it, LOVE it!

If you are fortunate to live in South Truro or have a summer rental for a few days, it's wonderful to know that there is a small deli located in the Truro shopping center where the post office is located). Jams is only opened during the summer season and as a result doesn't stick the kinds of items you can buy at a bigger supermarket. It's prices might be a little higher but it provides us with great sandwiches, coffee, delicious gazpacho snd all Kinds of Truro hats, tee shirts, mugs and other memorabilia . Every morning, except Thursdays when they are closed) I come by for my copy of the New York Times and have a chat with their friendly cashiers! They also sell small quantities fresh produce, fruits and other staples as well as eggs, milk, beer as well as wall of over the counter medications, razors, bandaids etc. I can't believe that some of the reviewers find fault with this little store that is conveniently located and could save you from driving to Wellfleet or Provincetown! While some of their prices are a little higher, I'm going to miss the convenience of shopping here when I have to pack up and head home!

Jam's is an awesome local market! The sandwiches are fresh and yummy and breakfast food delicious. The owners are friendly and warm, always looking to insure you have a great experience. Perfect spot to stop for beach provisions. Love Jam's!!

We just happened on this place today at lunchtime. My husband got a sandwich with turkey and bacon and I got one with chicken and pesto. Both of the sandwiches were delicious. The rolls were nice and crusty and the pesto on my sandwich was perfect. Not too oily. There were picnic tables and chairs set outside in the grass and we enjoyed eating our sandwiches there.
