Authentic Italian cuisine, reminiscent of the local fairy tales served in Naples, Rome, Florence! Fresh and tasty flavors, skillfully prepared by the Italian cook. We tried the Pasta Carbonara, the Margarita Pizza, Caprese Salad, Tiramisu and red wine on the glass. Everybody was great!

I was in Peru for a month. I would be one of the two best restaurants I found (out dozens), and the best in Trujillo. Fantastic food, with great service. Everything was pretty perfect. The owner is Italian, and the authenticity... the kitchen was there - I was twice in Italy, and that was part of Italy in Trujillo, Peru. I recommend Al Dente. It is not only the main dish (I had the lasanga), but also good wines and amazing Italian deserts. Salads are safely prepared for foreigners.

I've eaten here many times during my stay. The food is delicious. I especially enjoy the Lomo in Porchini Mushroom sauce with pasta. The service is great, especially when Sergio welcomes you and helps you select delicious food. I bought espinaca in the mercado central...(3 blocks away) and took it in and the chef was so willing to cook it alla Italiano! and I love their apple pie.
