Joe Kool's Troy Grill

1st time going. It wasn’t that bad. The burger was well seasoned. The wings were trash. ZERO seasoning. They literally threw them in the oven, added sauce and served. If garlic, salt, pepper, onion powder and a hint of chili powder was added prior to going in the oven, it would’ve made a huge difference. My sister’s pizza looked amazing.

First the good, best classic rock music I 've ever experienced at any bar or restaurant, good attention to detail in food customization (well done fries), good service, good food quantities. Not so good: botched execution on both appetizers and entrees 2 days in a row. For example, cheese curd appetizer had a horrifically bad garlic type flavor when unflavored we could have been perfectly fine. Asiago chicken entree would have been good if not drenched in a watery similarly horrific 3-cheese sauce. I left a 15%tip both days even tho the bulk of the food was bad, and I insisted on paying full price even tho all the food besides the fries was inedible. I made a friendly customer feedback suggestion to waitress explaining the bad flavors today. Her uninspired response was there is nothing we can do about the cheese curds as they come pre-flavored. I disagreed and suggested that they simply purchase unflavored curds, which likely would have resulted in another star. It 's hard to screw up cheese curds but they did. Other fails were inexplicable crumbling of a burger mea, and chicken tenders that were mostly breading. For reference, chick fillet tenders 9.5/10, JK tenders 2/10. Maybe I would have had better luck buying the more expensive appetizers vs the cheaper ones.

Whole family had dinner here, for the first time. Food and service was great. At first glance, prices seemed high. But when you see the portion size you see it is well worth it. For our family the portion size could have fed two. We had plenty of leftovers. We will definitely be adding Joe Kool's to our dining out list.

Waited 25 minutes for the water. Restaurant is 1/4 full. What are you so busy with running around ..?

The service was horrible. We had a party of eight people it took them an hour and a half to get our food. Then the waitress forgot to put in two orders.This was a Monday night at 8:30. Then the waitress took a half hour just to get our bill to us.
