Alex's Royal Grill - Troy

My husband son went there for breakfast while I was having cataract surgery nearby. They loved it! The food was fresh, hot delicious. My husband's mushroom cheese omelet was huge, fluffy full of yummy mushrooms, served with potatoes toast. He brought half home which I finished! My son had the veggie omelet again full of veggies, huge, fluffy delicious. It's so nice to see you can still get your money's worth somewhere today! They said the service was great they even thanked my husband for stopping in to eat there. If it were closer to where we lived, it would be a weekly spot as we love having breakfast out on the weekend. But I'm having my other eye done in 2 weeks, so they will definitely be returning! Fantastic family diner! The food is consistently delicious and served in generous portions. We visit almost weekly and order the same breakfasts, so they already know our order by the time we sit down. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive.
