Cantina Viajero - Trinity

So happy to have this restaurant in the area. Crowded but for the day after Christmas it wasn’t that bad. The wait for a table and for our food was long. A little pricey. Food and service was great!!

Server was great! Very friendly and attentive. Food was wonderful! However, we ordered dessert and it took so long to get it, we canceled the order. Had to catch a plane. The kids were disappointed. We were told they were short in the kitchen. Ok but we waited a really long time and it wasn’t that busy. I’m assuming that won’t happen again. We’ve always liked the place.

We had a reservation and arrived 10 minutes prior, after 30 minutes we were told our table was given to another party at an adjacent table that has too many guests. Then they seated a group that had a reservation after ours and we were told we had to wait. Once the food came out my wife’s dinner came out 5 minutes later, it as not a good experience although we have been often before. Service is always slow, but this experience was not a good one.

The atmosphere is what you first notice. It's light, artful upscale. The service is simply perfect! The knowledgeable staff is available yet not intrusive. Then then food... In a word, it's exquisite! it's consistent! I've hosted several meetings in their private dining room. I've eaten in the restaurant. Everything has been wonderful, EVERY TIME!
