We often get take-away fried food in other delicatessens, heating them in the convection oven turns out good and crunchy just the same, obviously if the fried food is recent, unfortunately this one turned out old and soft. A great fish store and snack bar rolled into one! We came across it by chance while walking through the streets of Trieste, looking for some fish restaurant to have lunch. Unfortunately, around 2 p.m., almost all cafes and restaurants close until the evening. This one worked non-stop!!! We were attracted from the street by a counter with a varied selection of delicious appetizers and ready-made fish and seafood dishes. And the amazing aroma of freshly prepared food lured us inside. You can choose products from the counter by weight or order a set lunch (to choose from on the board) at a fixed price. Those who wish can take food to go. We preferred to eat in a small room behind the wall bar. Food is brought quickly and in disposable dishes with the same cutlery. Lunch for three: two dishes by weight and two set lunches plus three cups of coffee with milk cost 60 euros. Very tasty and filling! Paying after the meal allows the customer to order something else, such as dessert. Payment is possible both by card and in cash. There is a clean toilet for clients. I recommend it as a must visit!!!
