Bidrage med feedbackMy wife, daughter, dog and I were caught in a rainstorm on a bike trip near payerne and we took under the dach on the parking auberge du soleil. the owner came out and offered that we warm up and dry. while we wait for a friend to pick us up (although they were closed until the evening) and made us a tee. she did not even accept that we would pay for the drinks. we had time to take the tasty facility, the mouthwater menu and the interesting selection of weeping through the glass. we will definitely enjoy the trip on a day soon to enjoy a beautiful meal in this beautiful restaurant! merci beaucoup pour l’accueil généreux. bien apprécié!
We live near the place and we love to eat as couple or friends in this restaurant. the suggested menus are all prepared fresh with seasonal ingredients. there is a selection of three entrances, three main dishes and three gloomy. all made home (a mus for all gloomy lovers! . they also have an excellent selection of wine with some exclusive bottles. we love especially the ambiente, very friendly and familiar, but with style, and in summer it is an absolute highlight outside to eat in the garden. even if the restaurant is in the middle of nowhere, it is worth going there!
This place is far from everything, but it is definitely worth the kilometers. it is a 'cafè style' restaurant clean and clean. the man is in the kitchen and the woman is in front. that was all about the personal. when I was there, on a weekday, there were 15 seats occupied and everything worked very well. Usually for lunch they prefer to use only the menu du jour, but when I arrived, I asked about the a la carte, should I decide that it was my favorite. no problem! I chose an open red wine from the languedoc. I never decided less for the menu du jour, but wanted to replace the starter salad with a dish from a la carte an salat with a piece fois gras poelée and a boned half quail. the salate was very fresh and the cue and fois gras could not be prepared better and was delicious with its "porto sauce". the main course was a roti de porc 'filet et jambon ', served with a kartoffel and parsnip maische and kind. the roast was perfectly cooked with a sweet Pruneau sauce, like the sweet, but the great flavor surprise was the maische. the addition of parsnips gave him an extremely pleasant and unusual taste. the dessert was poached pears 'au safran' with a house made mascarpone eis. it was a very refined mix that was absolutely delicious and showed that the owners understand what is pleasant to the palate. (I found out later that it was the exhaustion of the woman bernadette! the chef daniel came around and chatted with the guests and accepted my raving compliments gracefully. with the coffee I had a berutch (a wild prune eau de vie. and a great measure that was a beautiful crowning of an excellent meal with good service.
