I really enjoy Little Caesars, and while I'm not sure how they manage to keep their pizza so affordable, I can confidently say that this location does it well. In a small town with only a handful of decent restaurants and fast food options, I believe this is one of the best choices.
I had quite an experience at the restaurant recently. A young employee came out to hand off someone else's order because he mistakenly gave them the wrong pizza. Another customer pointed out that the worker had just given away his pizza as well, to which the employee replied, "Yes, but we'll make you a new one; it’s baking in the oven right now." I was standing at the counter, but he didn’t even seem to recognize me. When I tried to place my own order, the man waiting for his new pizza asked how much longer he would have to wait. The employee responded, "It's not long; it’s just sitting in the oven." He glanced at me but didn’t acknowledge my presence and returned to the back. I finally told him I wanted to place an order, and he seemed eager to take it. I requested a combo pizza, but he interrupted me, so I clarified that I wanted extra sauce and extra cheese. He seemed confused and then took my order for buffalo wings. After that, he informed me that my order would cost over $20 and would take 25 minutes. I agreed and paid. When I returned to pick up my order, the young man was quite rude. He tossed my order onto the counter without a word of thanks or even asking if I needed anything else. When I called him back to ask for sauce for the wings, he replied that it would cost 75 cents. I was surprised—don’t they usually include sauce with wings? He rudely pointed to the menu stating the price for sauce and then begrudgingly handed me a ranch cup that he had placed on my pizza box, saying, "You know what, we only take about an hour." I was taken aback by how he treated me. As I exited, I suggested that he check with his manager about the wing sauce, and as the door shut behind me, I heard him mumble something derogatory—I couldn't catch all of it, but it was clearly directed at me. What struck me was that he didn’t even ask my name when I ordered; he just wrote down "Raccoon hat" on my receipt. His name was Michael M. This young man could definitely benefit from some training in customer service and how to properly interact with people, especially older customers who could be his grandparents. On a positive note, the pizza and wings were great, but the service left a lot to be desired.
