Firehouse Subs Traverse - Traverse City

The food was good, but the service was terrible. I tried going four times and it was always late. Twice I even found hair in my sandwich.

I had high expectations for a restaurant that pays homage to firefighters and fireworks, but I was disappointed when the food turned out to be made from frozen ingredients, stale bread, and lacked any real flavor. If I were a firefighter, I wouldn't be pleased. They certainly have the potential to create delicious dishes, but unfortunately, they missed the mark this time.

I left my wallet behind and couldn't pay for my meal. The bread was extremely tough and the corned beef and pastrami were very fatty. Overall, it was a horrible experience and I will not be returning to Firehouse again.

Got a to go order and the gentleman making my sandwich was probably the nicest dude I ever met. Generally looked like he enjoyed what he does. Food is always great but it really made my day seeing his positivity. Thank you for the whole experience.

Great sandwich quality and a good amount of food for what you pay for. The employees are incredibly friendly and on brand. Little bit high priced, and just a very mediocre location.
