Bonobo Winery - Traverse City

Beautiful and the wine selection is fantastic. Absolutely worth a visit.

Never have we been greeted so rudely at a winery as we were here. The words arrogance and off-putting come to mind. The server made no attempt to engage with us. It seemed that we were a bother to her. We ordered and shared a small $13 glass of wine, which was about $8 too much. The best I can say about this establishment is the scenic view on the back patio. I 've been to many northern Michigan wineries over many summers. I 'll never go back to this one.

Bonobo winery was excellent. They offer 5 tastings at 1 oz each, today’s menu was mostly whites with one red at the end. It was a super light and refreshing tasting but more than just the wine, the atmosphere overall was good vibes !! There’s an adorable swing outside , and a mural of a bonobo monkey. Incredibly picturesque all around the property. There are limited bathrooms on the property, you might have to wait a few minutes to get in one , but very clean ! Also you get to take your water glass home from the tasting !

Love the ambiance inside and out of the bonobo winery. Great scenery of the vineyard and Bay in the distance.Wine by the glass and bottles available for purchase. Small bites are available with your glass of wine. Bonobo has created a great space to enjoy some wine with a temporary escape!
