Pizza House - TRAVELERS REST

We had an amazing experience with both the food and the service! We ordered a calzone and a pepperoni pizza. The calzones were delicious, though I think they could benefit from having ricotta in them. The sauce had a wonderful spice to it. The pizza was also excellent, with a fantastic crust. Our waitress, Mikayla, was very friendly and attentive. As visitors from NY/NJ, I’ll write two reviews: for Southern pizza, it’s a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Compared to New York pizza, I’d rate it about 4 out of 5 stars. We’ll definitely be coming back here often!

I had a Mediterranean calzone today, and it was quite different from the ones I've had elsewhere. It felt more like a hearty meal than a traditional calzone, but it was very tasty. The crust had a nice crackle, thanks to the extra cheese.

Big pizza salads had a big paprikawurst pizza, a small chicken apple. The fried mushroom cup was a good large part. Bailey was our server. She was very attentive, friendly and sure that our experience was good.

Always great food! I live in NC and every visit to the area I always make a trip because the pizza is excellent! Excellent service and house made desserts!

Hey everyone! This restaurant opened when I was a kid, and I’ve loved it ever since. They serve the best ravioli, subs, lasagna, and pizza. And I can’t even describe how amazing the cheesecake is... It’s simply heavenly!
