Food taste good, minimal chips, the $4 is not even feeding 1 person and the prices on the drinks are stupid not coming

Paid $8.50 for large chips looked like a handful from a baby. Chips took 30 minutes to prepare (shop was empty) and when I got there was told oh sorry its a $10 minimum for card , usually something you should get told over the phone... and then had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes for gravy to get it over the $10 minimum. Only ordered from there once before and wasn 't impressed but due to regular fish and chip shop being closed on a Monday I thought maybe it could be better, it was not. One of the, im assuming owner, was midway through taking an order, stopped and started arguing with one of the other workers. Unprofessional to say the least.

So my Fiance ordered dinner for us off her phone. At the time I had jumped into the shower after my 12hr shift. She gave them my name and number. They called back 5 mins later saying "we aren 't cooking your order because the number you gave us was different to the one you called on. (Wow way to go Sherlock. Probably because it was my Fiance ordering for me. She is on bed rest at the moment mind you. So I got there 30 minutes after we ordered after they said it was fine over the phone. I got there to pay. Well would you look at that they hadn 't even started cooking it yet. So after waiting there for 20 minutes my food was finally cooked. No apology. No discount. Absolute disgrace. Family and friends now know the story. A lot of lost customers from tonight 's atrocities. Sincerely, Lachlan (and yes this is me, not my partner on my phone... pun intended.

Unfortunately our fish and chips today were just terrible. Cold and way under par. Chips were soggy and we asked for chicken salt but appeared to have NO salt at all. Very disappointing.

Has been our go to fish n chip shop for years. But after messing up our order (fish bite instead of flake) and continually telling me that’s what I ordered when I rang to rectify, we won’t be back!
