Taste Of Italy - Tralee

The coffee is fantastic. They offer delicious Italian takeout meals for enjoying at home, along with a variety of crusty bread and cheeses. It truly feels like a genuine deli experience.

The coffee at this restaurant is very good and lovely. The layout inside is quite odd, but the products themselves are amazing. I absolutely love the coffee and the staff is incredibly friendly.

I recently stumbled upon this restaurant and it has been a delightful discovery. The coffee, wine, and cured meats are all exceptional. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. I may just have to make this place a part of my daily routine.

We were on the road, looking for a bite to eat, and paused in Tralee. Not knowing the town, we parked in the multi-storey and on leaving the parking garage we walked up the street past the post office. The Italian cafe caught our eye. They served the best coffee I have had in Ireland. My friend had a calzone and I had a salad with very fresh mozzarella, sliced tomatoes and basil. The food was excellent. My only criticism is that the basil was dried flakes and not fresh leaves. We got chatting to the owner and it turns out he is a Lithuanian who has lived in Chicago and is passionate about Italian food. His cooking is excellent and the food is fresh. You can also buy Italian wines, olive oils and jars of preserves there. He has clearly spent a lot fitting out the cafe. It is sparkling clean and inviting, and of course the espresso machine looks like something that could launch a rocket to the moon. I hope they fix up the toilet to the same standard. Actually just putting a good coat of white paint on the door would help. It was clean, but a bit shabby. Good luck to him, and I hope the business is a success.
