Zumu Sushi Robatayaki - Trafford

In general meal here was okay and the sushi ordered was tasty and fresh. Sadly as the restaurant was cold and a few dishes were overpriced for the size it’s not somewhere we’d return to.

I decided to order from this restaurant after seeing an ad at a nearby place. However, after waiting for almost an hour and not receiving my order, I went to the restaurant only to find out that their app was not functioning. They assured me that the money would be refunded within 24 hours. The staff mentioned that they still take the money even if the app is not working, which seemed strange and questionable to me. I recommend avoiding using the app and the restaurant altogether.

I had high hopes for this restaurant as it appeared elegant inside. However, it was not very busy, and now I understand why. While the food tasted good, the portions were small and overpriced. For instance, six small prawns were £11, much to my surprise. My companion and I spent £50 on food but still needed to eat elsewhere afterwards due to the lack of food. The manager was pleasant but seemed overwhelmed, and other staff members were not very attentive. Our server struggled with English and I had to wait for the manager to take my order, even though it was just reading items off the menu. Additionally, a teenage boy at the bar kept changing the music volume, making it difficult to talk. We were also required to pay a £5 service charge, which felt unfair given the poor service. I doubt the restaurant will survive long with this level of operation, which is a shame as a good Japanese restaurant would thrive in Hale. As shown in my photo, the sushi cost £10.

The best sushi I have ever eaten in uk, i felt with the taste of the freshness of the product like i was in japan. I can’t recommend this place enough
