Dao Place Vietnamese

I have to say, the presentation is nice. Proce is relatively higher. But the taste didn’t amaze me.

Had a lovely evening dining at Dao. Food was delicious and staff very friendly and quick. The pork in particular was very tasty, highly recommend

I thought this place might be an overpriced tourist trap compared to the little food stalls seen around Vietnam. My dad is from HCMC and I grew up eating delicious Pho so I have high expectations. I absolutely loved the Pho Tai (rare beef) here! It was some of the most delicious soup I’ve had and the beef was very high quality. The restaurant was very clean, air conditioned and had a great ambience. The price is almost 2x that of a small stall, but it was definitely worth it. I would definitely return!

Good place for dining. Location near the market and easy to find. Ordered the fried tilapia, shrimp sour soup, mixed vegie with fish paste. All meals taste good and delicious. Drink tried the special beer that they offer. It perfectly match with the food that we had. Price wise affordable with the portion that they served. And the service was good, kind, and quite fast.

The Canh Chua Tom (sweet sour w/ shrimp) soup is amazing!!!! We also enjoyed the Com Chien Cua (crab fried rice), Banh Xeo (pan fried Vietnamese crepe with shrimp meat), and Cua Lot Chien Gion Sit Change Day (deep fried soft shell crab w/ passion fruit sauce). Very good. Has A/C. The lemongrass lemon tea is great and the snow lemon is refreshing.
