Aalishan Indian Restaurant - Townsville

A family member is a regular and took us for a 'treat', he said. It sure was. Unpretentious decor yet welcoming and friendly place. Staff were helpful and patient while we decided what to order. We ended up ordering a dish each and sharing. Each dish was delicious - and servings were generous.Very reasonably priced.BYOHighly recommended

Great food. Medium is pretty spicy. We enjoyed the coconut rice and the garlic naan. Chicken tikka was good too. Each dish was quite different in flavour which was great. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Townsville.

Eaten here a few times now and the food is amazing. I would say it was one of the best Indian restuarants in Townsville. Not expensive meals that are a generous size and you generally don't have too big a wait. The staff are always very polite provide good service. It is also byo with a bottle shop accross the road which is handy. Get it India!

I got the $12 lunch special. I was a little surprised and how little it was. It was ok, but didn't make me want to return. Staff friendly.

I ordered dinner from here and the food was incredibly fresh and tasty. Servings were big too! And they made it to the level of spiciness I could handle.
