Townsend Pancake House

My husband and I are locals from Blount County, not Townsend, and we were quite disappointed with the service we received during our visit. We waited for twenty minutes after being seated before anyone came to our table, and it wasn’t our designated server, but another staff member. Once we finally had

I waited an hour for pancakes, eggs, a burger, home fries, French fries, bacon, and French toast. When the food finally arrived, it was cold. The sunny-side-up eggs were broken, and the home fries and hash browns were oddly green. The burger was as tough as a hockey puck, the French toast was soggy, and the French fries were burnt. To top it off, the service was terrible. Our server only approached us when we first sat down before disappearing to hang out with her grandchildren. We never received any drink refills, and she didn't check on us during the long wait for our food. The other staff members were rude and ignored us when we tried to get their attention. Our table was sticky and dusty, the restrooms were filthy, and overall, the experience was a disaster. I would recommend waiting at the Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge pancake houses instead; their long lines are far better than the poor environment, service, and food at this place.

I waited over an hour for my meal and eventually had to ask the owner for an update. He informed us that we were still five tickets behind in the queue. Our server never came to refill our drinks, which made the experience even worse. The service and hospitality were the worst I've ever encountered, and I will never return. We ended up getting up and leaving, and surprisingly, they didn't make us pay for the coffee we received, even though it was never refilled.

This roadside Pancake House is an excellent place for breakfast and they have it all! Something delicious for everyone!

We found this great little place on our way home from our trip to sevierville. What brought us there was that it was dog friendly. We had nice outdoor seating. Our waiter was super friendly and welcoming. Great food and even better service! Our Lola was well loved by staff as well and they brought her water.
