Flamingo Grill - Townsend

Great food and nice menu selection. We enjoyed the various possibilities. Super friendly staff!

Love this place to get a soft ice cone with friends after a long day in the water in the sun. Spent structure with some tables, or wait until evening and sit in the grass in the shade of some trees.

Great portions of good quality food. The price is for the amount of delicious food they serve. Homemade dressings, fresh clean products... and the chocolate nachos are amazing!

This is a fun little restaurant. It seasonal. It's a nice place to stop for ice cream or get a burger. There is no indoor eating, except for a school bus they converted to be a sitting area. Be aware that this part of the country can get a bit windy and you may be sitting outside. Also if you are lucky, sometimes the student pilots will practice landing at the airstrip and you can watch them easily. The end of the airstrip is very close to the Flamingo Grill. It's definitely a great ice cream stop!

We enjoyed a great lunch at the Flamingo grill this past weekend while staying at the Townsand KOA. Very tasty, and you will not go hungry. A great veriety to choose from, with freindly staff.
