This one-star rating comes from a place of concern. I'm truly disappointed by the lack of care this restaurant has for its own image. To start, it looks closed when you approach. When we finally received the menus, they were covered in leftover food and spilled wine—quite off-putting. You have a wonderful establishment in the village, and your food appears delicious, as I’ve heard. Why not enhance the ambiance by adding some warm, inviting lights to the patio, cleaning up the gardens filled with debris, planting flowers in the pots, replacing burnt-out light bulbs, printing fresh menus, and giving your picnic tables a coat of paint? Breathe some life back into the place. Show your restaurant some love! All of these suggestions require just a bit of effort, and getting your staff involved could make a big difference. First impressions matter, and with new competitors in the area, you might need to improve your curb appeal. I understand that feedback can be hard to take, but it’s not meant to be rude or unfair.

Charming. Feels like you stepped back in time two hundred years. The service is extremely friendly. Expansive wine and beer selection. Wasn't offering small plates when I was there and, though the menu was understandably limited, the food was good.

The atmosphere was great, the host was warm and welcoming. We got sat near the fireplace which was perfect since the evening was chilly. The menu was limited but that's not a negative, the food was really enjoyable and satisfying, mixed with good wine made for a good night out.

Charming suburban vibe! The food was delicious and served promptly. The owner, Darin, made us feel like part of the family. The only downside is that gratuities are already included on the bill, so be careful not to tip again.
