Red Line Diner - Town of Fishkill

One star is definitely one star too many. This is the most horrible Diner I’ve ever been to in my whole life and I am Greek and say I have worked in a few dinners and been to plenty of diners and never have I had such horrible food, service is fine but the food is disgusting. I ordered a Greek omelette which the menu clearly says feta cheese, onions, tomatoes and for some reason they have bacon in it I’ve never seen that before but it was OK I ordered it without tomatoes and for some reason they threw in a can of corn, there was so much corn in my omelette that I was not able to eat it. One time I had a Greek salad and they gave me some kind of creamy dressing that they state, it was Greek dressing but Greek dressing is supposed to be like oil and vinegar with herbs and spices maybe some feta cheese in it, not creamy like ranch which this apparently was definitely a creamy dressing it was gross. I could go on and on on how their food is horrible. Will never go back ever ever ever and will never recommend this place to anyone.

I was there today with my husband for dinner. The place was loud and crowded and da food i ordered which i have ordered before, sucked . The appetizer, chicken nachos, was bland, dry and most of it consisted of lettuce and avocado. The soda was flat, my husband and i had two different kinds and they were both flat. I had to change to ice tea which tasted more like water than rasberry iced tea. The cheeseburger was also bland, no onions or melted cheese, just a big piece of tomato and lettuce on top. I was extremely disappointed and i even asked if da management had changed hands, which they had not. I have been here before and it was good, maybe an off day perhaps? I will try one more time and see if its different. Will write review as well, only time will tell.

The food was extremely cold and unpleasant. Instead of filtered water, they served us tap water with ice, which was not acceptable.

I ordered a Greek omelette that was supposed to have feta cheese, spinach, and tomatoes, but for some reason, they added ham, which I had never encountered before. I asked for it without tomatoes, yet they inexplicably included a can of corn instead. There was so much corn in my omelette that I couldn't eat it. I also tried the Greek salad, and they served it with some kind of creamy dressing that they claimed was a Greek dressing. However, authentic Greek dressing should consist of oil and vinegar, with perhaps some crumbled feta cheese on top, not this thick, ranch-like cream. It was horrible. I could go on about how terrible the food was, but I’ll keep it short: I will never return to this restaurant, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

My friend and I went out for breakfast today and chose to sit outside. We were seated right away, but then we waited and waited—no one even offered us a glass of water, let alone coffee. After about ten minutes, another couple came in and sat next to us, and I told my friend that if the waitress continued to ignore us, we would leave. The waitress, however, never acknowledged us at all.
