Bidrage med feedbackSlightly expensive, but incredibly beautiful, cocktails in lounge lover always feels like a special occasion. decor is beautiful and interesting, the smell of weihrauch is warm and welcoming and cocktails are evenly delicious. table service can be easy to slow when very busy, but they can always only visit the bar if they don't want to wait. book them in advance as the seat is limited and is always busy.
Don't be fooled by the unassuming location of Lounge Lover - the bar is absolutely stunning. I was smitten before even looking at the cocktail menu. The decor has a unique oriental vibe that somehow works beautifully. Paired with the delightful scent of rose wine, attentive table service, and perfect background music for conversation, Lounge Lover is the ideal spot for a night out. However, the prices of the cocktails may not be budget-friendly for an entire evening. While not necessarily overpriced given the creativity and quality of the drinks, at £10 each, it can add up quickly if you want to try multiple options from their extensive menu. My personal favorite was the Chocolate Mistress - a luscious blend of tuaca, Baileys, and Frangelico that I can't wait to recreate at home. I suggest making a reservation in advance, especially for weekends, as seating can be tight for pairs and you may end up sharing a table. Lounge Lover may be a splurge, but it's definitely worth it for a special occasion or pre-drinks before heading somewhere more budget-friendly.
Loungelover provides a cool and relaxed atmosphere for hanging out with friends and sipping on beautifully crafted cocktails. We enjoyed the private space that opened up for us when the sliding doors were pulled back (formerly an art gallery, we prefer the cozy sofas now). The pulsating colored utopia cocktail was a favorite and highly recommended!
The eclectic somewhat kitschige device in lounge lover is very in harmony with the location. you either love to bite, or hate it to death. The same applies to the cocktails I had, the friends refuse to have another swallow cocktails that they ordered first, but then called 'revolting '' disgusting'. fortunately I love the decor, and the cocktails (especially the $azerasc.) elaborate, but hey, you get table service and there is a picture of a woman who gives you the middle finger in the men.
I have walked past this place countless times, it's tucked away near the trendy but pricey area of Shoreditch. I heard it was a cool bar, so one random weekday, my girlfriend and I decided to check it out. Despite it not being very crowded, we were told we needed a reservation because the place was supposedly busy (even though it wasn't). After securing a table, we had a great time ordering drinks from the friendly bartender, who made fantastic recommendations. We also tried some delicious small bites. Overall, I would recommend this place if you don't mind making a reservation, spending a bit more money, and enjoying quality drinks. The drinks alone are worth the visit.
