Yoko Sushi - Toulouse

We ate here the night of the Fête de la musique, Toulouse so the city was packed. In order to enjoy some of the festivities we chose to eat outside. We ordered a mixed sushi platter between us to start then had noodles each afterwards. The Sushi came out really fast which was a little worrying as good Sushi takes a little bit of time to make. It was nice, though not the best sushi I have had. The noodles for mains came in a small overflowing bowl which made it kind of difficult to eat. They were definately not fresh as they were out before we even finished our sushi and they certainly didnt taste the freshest. Service was pretty non existent, the waitress forgot cutlery, no soy sauce or wasabi for the sushi. We arrived pretty late and they only open till 10.30 and half-way through our meal they started clearing away the tables outside. The waitress was inexperienced and forgot many things and even managed to break a series of glasses outside when cleaning the table next to ours. She also seemed more interested in her phone and smoking than paying attention to customers. They were nice enough to cork our wine and give us paper cups which we drank at the outdoor music festivities. It was ok but this is more a lunch time place or somewhere I would go to grab a quick bite to eat. I love sushi and was craving some but perhaps we should have done a bit more research on the best place to go, this was close by our hotel and we walked past it daily so have it a chance. Would I return? Probably not.

This place looks great from the outside, modern and clean. I wandered around Toulouse for more than half an hour waiting for it to open at 6:30pm, but alas the server was more concerned about getting the tables on the terrace ready rather than letting me in. Twenty minutes later and it was still not open. Such a shame as I was really looking forward to finding a regular sushi stop on en route to the airport.

I really love this sushi place (they also deliver it to your house). The quality is very good and absolutely worth its price. The Restaurant has a nice design and the service is super! Recommended for Lunch try the lunch menue!

On s’est régalé ! Comme d’habitude ! Service et qualité sont en rendez-vous. Nous y sommes allés plusieurs fois et nous ne sommes jamais déçus

It's very good, but since the vacinal pass stopped, we waited for minutes without taking our order it's shameful.
