Bidrage med feedbackGreat authentic tasting food and great friendly service. We were looking for a non-sensual tasty meal and this matched the bill. Great value for money go for it
The first impression was the excessive smell of Stale cooking oil, which penetrates the whole restaurant. We had to change our clothes as soon as we came home. Although it was only half full, the service was very slow. The food was barely edible and...not well presented. No Kopple in sight. I would avoid this place. Go to Batbat around the corner where the food is 100 times better.
We stopped here on a whim. It was a weekday evening and we wanted something Asian but not fast food-y. Pho Quyen was just the thing, on a quiet side road off the busy center of the Carmes neighborhood. We chose the house special Bun...with barbecued pork and Pho with chicken along with a starter plate of nems, a fresh roll, two spring rolls, two fried shrimp and a samosa. What a nice surprise! The food, especially the pho, was fragrant and flavorful. The broth tasted like someone's family recipe. The pork was tender and yummy when mixed with rice noodles and sauce. I'm going back soon to try the beef pho! I need to add that, despite our language challenges, the proprietor went out of his way to make sure we were happy and comfortable. He really made us feel welcome!
Happy to come across this warm inviting place on a rainy night in Toulouse. Owner friendly, service attentive, food was surprisingly good: crevette beignet (crunchy exterior with sweet-tasting crevette filling ; crab omelet (oh, so good! ; chicken pho (delicate, fragrant, just right for a rainy night ;...banana beignet flambe was the perfect end to an very good meal. Prices were reasonable. We will return often.
We had delicious beef pho here. The beef was tender and the broth was amazing. The service was attentive and friendly too. Highly recommend!
