O Bistro Des Artistes - Toulon

Looked outside at the smokey street corner. all eating cold as served on cold plates. steak betare ok, yes we know it should be cold. la grillade du bistro also cold and came suspiciously fast, including duck, kalb on a spits and a...half andouillette, all immersed in 5 minutes, mmm. cheesecake days old, at the edges. we have a bill with extra pichet wein and a coffee we didn't have. the waitress cried simply and said, 'c 'est normal' and took it from the bill. what is “normal” about the attempt to overload tourist!? do not go here and speak English!

Quite big restaurant, nicely decorated. Big choice of meals on the menu, very friendly staff. Big portions for very reasonable prices.

Traveling with a group of friends we stumbled across this place dined here one evening. The food, service atmosphere was very good. we all felt it was the best meal we had in Toulon. The following day we asked a taxi driver to...recommend the best restaurant; it was this one. Good range on menu all freshly prepared.

We went here to have a quick lunch with the Family. The service is fast, the food came quickly and was good and the prices are okay. I had the burger and it was very good, but the burger was made with lamb. All in...all a good experience.
