Bidrage med feedbackI come here for the slushes which are eighty-nine cents so I treat my self to one.
I'm never been comforted by stopping here but they have new people working here store was very clean and organized. And I was greeted by the cashier.
Not like it used to be. Now it just looks dangerous and every time I go inside o have to make sure I don't leave anything on my seat and carry Ms. Molly or Ms. Lucille
What a great lunch with all these great foodies! Appetizer combo: Chili cheese fries, fried pickles, fried cheese sticks, and onion rings. Those chili cheese fries was phenomenal, as were the fried pickles. CS's Club Roast beef, turkey, and cheese. This was bomb! The fries were store bought and overcooked. But the sandwich was great! Peanut butter pie: I was too full to even taste it but they said it was very good. It's really sweet and has a crunchy peanut butter texture. Inez was our server. She was not very personable, but she was good. We met the owner and he was a pure joy. My good friend nearly gave me and herself a heart attack simultaneously while checking out. make sure to try the old fashion peppermints in the box at the check out counter. It will be an experience that's for sure. Great time with good people! Please make sure to get by here and show our support. This is a historical place in our community and they need our support!
Interesting place with an interesting history. Either way this is one of those dive bars that has that bluesy juke joint feel. The chicken sandwhich here is possibly one of the best in the city and I've heard the burger is the unofficial #1 best in the city as well. One thing is for sure, you can't beat the great live music that rock the walls of this place. Its located in a spot that is easily missed. You've got to be apart of the city to know about CS's. Its been here longer than I can remember and gthe vibe remains the same.
