Barnyard Carriage House - Totowa

I have noticed some large political signs outside The Barnyard, and Fox News is playing on every TV in the restaurant. The burgers, particularly the turkey burger, are delicious, but the other menu items are just average. The main draw of this place is its beautiful outdoor area. It's a great spot for a relaxing lunch, with volleyball nets and polite, friendly servers. The beer seems to taste off, possibly due to poorly maintained taps. It's puzzling why any public establishment would prominently display its political views and potentially alienate customers.

We had a wonderful time at this restaurant for our engagement dinner! The service was excellent, we never felt like we needed anything. The food was delicious, especially the steak salad which was cooked perfectly to medium rare (just how I like it). The ambiance of the venue was beautiful with flowers in bloom, full trees, and a perfect arrangement of dishes. We will definitely be returning for future events!

The food was terrible and the service was slow, waited half an hour for a hamburger which was not good. The prices were way too high as well, with lunch for one costing $40.00. Overall, a disappointing experience.

Go to place for a fun atmosphere and good food. The whole staff is great. From the owner down never a bad time here.

We hosted a party there. They were easy to work with, great venue (lots of places for beautiful photos), good food and very attentive service. Super pleased about everything.
