Pizzeria Anna - Tossa de Mar

The place was really quiet. The service was good (do read not great, but good. Their attention to the guests is what hit me. The two waitresses looked bored out of their minds and didn’t pay much attention to the guests. Now for the food. … almost excellent. The tomato buffala was a 15 on 10. Fresh. On point. But I have to ask for olive oil. Who serves this dish without olive oil ? Anyway. Also had the pizza (cheese with pepperoni and basil . Again. Good. Not excellent. Weird. The top of the crust was nice and crunchy … but the bottom was almost another dough. Chewy and rubbery. Don’t get me wrong. It was good. We’d eat it again. But it just was inconsistent.

Had a very nice night there and the pizzas were great. We are a family of 6 but it was no problem to the owner who rearranged the tables to accommodate us. We chose pizzas from the menu adding and taking away ingredients as not everyone wanted the set menu. This was no problem at all. The pizzas were served all at the same time and were delicious. I don’t usually like pizza but these were made to order in a proper pizza oven. We would definitely visit again.

Perfect pizzas. Great atmosphere and service. The way they produce their dough reflects on the quality of their pizzas. I am a fan of the burratta one...amazing. Good pizza and pasta, salad and cold beer and sangria. This is definitely part of our summer.
